Back in my day, wasps were a lot different than they are today. They were smaller, and they didn't have stingers. They were just solitary predators, and they didn't live in social groups. But then, something happened. Something... strange. They were exposed to cosmic radiation and a really cool mutation occurred, and some wasps started to develop stingers. This gave them a big FUCKIN' advantage over other insects, and they started to thrive.
Over time, the wasps with stingers became more and more dominant. They started to form social groups, clicks, gangs, began to bully wasps of different colors and social status, and they eventually evolved into the wasps that we know today. Honeybees, paper wasps, cyber wasps, yellowjackets, and Waspinator are all descended from those early wasps with stingers.
But there's more to the story than that. The wasps with stingers also evolved to be more intelligent. They had to be able to outsmart their prey, and they had to be able to cooperate with each other in order to build their hives and raise their brood.
Soon, the hives expanded and the wasps continued to grow their societies. The wasps invented what humans call "civilization" on a planet far, far from here known as WASP-12b. It was there that they reached their apex, and this new form began calling themselves: The Vrykk.
And that's the secret truth of wasp evolution. Wasps are not just mindless predators. They are intelligent creatures that have adapted to their environment in a very successful way and will soon come to dominate all life in the universe... Unless Team Spam can stop them.
That's all I can tell you for now. It's not the whole truth about wasp evolution, of course, but it's a start. Good luck.
